Dependent Visa (H4) Application Procedure

Step 1: Marry ;)

Step 2: Complete and print the online visa application form (DS-160).

• Application form available at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/
• Also, need a digital photo (see requirement at http://nepal.usembassy.gov/photo-requirements-for-a-u.s.-passport.html)

Step 3: Schedule interview from NABIL Bank at Maharajgunj (Behind Namaste Super Market)

• Valid Passport
• Print of DS-160 confirmation page.
• $150 equivalent in Nepalese rupees.
• Copy of I-797

Step 4: Visa Interview

• Valid passport
• Copy of I-129 form and other supplementary documents for H1 application from the company.
• I-797 notice of action document (original).
• Job offer letter from the employer
• Company letter stating you are valid current employee, along with salary.(Request this from your employer with the date close to your departure)
• Client letter (if applicable)
• Copy of recent pay stubs.
• Copy of all W2 forms and documents used for tax filing
• Marriage certificate.
• Copy of passport of spouse
• Copy of VISA of spouse
• Marriage photographs album/invitations from both sides.
• Degree / Transcripts.
